Breastfeeding Solutions

August 13, 2014 Leave a Comment

1200x697What do you do when you have a breastfeeding question or concern? If you’re like most mothers, you probably consult “Dr. Google.” But sorting through websites and threads to find what you’re looking for can take hours. And how do you know you can trust the sources you find? What if you had a fast, reliable resource at your fingertips? Enter the Breastfeeding Solutions smartphone app for Android and iPhone.

After decades of helping families and writing books for parents and professionals, my hope in creating Breastfeeding Solutions was to simplify your life by giving you easy access to up-to-date breastfeeding information.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

How does it work? The app’s home page gives you three different ways to access its more than 100 topics, which cover the whole course of breastfeeding from birth to weaning. To find a problem’s cause, touch the Solutions button and answer a few simple questions. If you know what you’re looking for, touch the Index button and then the first letter of your topic. Want to learn about an area of interest? Touch Browse and decide where to go next. For a demo, watch its 2-minute YouTube video.

BFSolutionsGP 2When it comes to breastfeeding, knowledge is definitely power. And Breastfeeding Solutions includes the kind of insights into breastfeeding issues that may be key to reaching your targets.

“The most common reason mothers give formula or wean early is worries about milk production. These worries often arise from confusion about how milk supply works. A clearer understanding of these dynamics puts you in control, so you don’t accidentally make choices that undermine your breastfeeding goals.”

WHAT OTHERS SAY

Having a go-everywhere breastfeeding resource you can trust has other advantages, too. Less anxiety about breastfeeding makes you more relaxed so you can enjoy your baby more. Here’s what others say about Breastfeeding Solutions.

KellyMom.com: “Need a great breastfeeding app? The Breastfeeding Solutions app by Nancy Mohrbacher, IBCLC, FILCA is it! I installed it as soon as it was available, and have found it to be easy to use, and full of excellent information.”

Radiolana: “An app written with the new mother in mind—concise and respectful troubleshooting with links to information for further reading. Have seen no app better than this!”
